Perfect for all your wanderings, these shoulder bags are crotched by hand, in Costa Rica, by Veronica's mom!

Granny squares are made from left over skeins of 100% Peruvian Highland Wool, and trimmed out in a beautiful cream acrylic.

The bags with a story

Brenda found her storage unit shelves over flowing with buckets and buckets of left over wool from years of crocheting and knitting. What should we do with all this wool, was the question! Knowing that Veronica's mom, in Costa Rica, crochets on the side, to help pay her bills, Brenda came up with the idea! With a trip to Costa Rica (2023) coming up, Brenda filled an extra big suitcase full of wool and delivered it to Vero's mom, who was delighted with the gift. One year later (after 10 years of trying), Yenory, Veronica's mom, got a visitor visa to Canada, and these beautiful bags were in her suitcase!!

We love the story behind the reviving of these wool scraps and watching the beauty that emerged from them, but MORE importantly, we love supporting other Creators, as they endeavour to bring their ideas and goods to the marketplace, at the same time, enhancing their lives!
